3 will soon be releasing new version of their USB Modems.
The Huawei E160 will be updated to the Huawei E160G which will come in 3 new colours, Pink, Blue, and Green.
And a brand new Huawei E169 will have a built in memory card reader, so you will be able to transfer files to your USB Modem and to use it as a card reader.
Both of these will be available on Contract and Pay as you Go.

Will thesework on linpus linux os?
As far as I am aware you should be able to get them to work with any Linux OS. I seriously doubt that Linux will be supported by 3 themselves. But, if you don't already have a USB Modem working with your Linux system, I'd recommend checking the links in my 'Mobile Broadband on Linux!' series of posts to get some info on how some other people have managed to get it working.
The difference between e160 and e160g is that the latest model is 3g capable comparable to the old e160.
